Christmas photos at Millworks Creative are always a magical experience, especially when the set feels like it belongs in Santa’s workshop. I’ve always loved a classic Christmas setup - cozy reds and greens thoughtfully placed around a warm brown couch, glowing lights, and that timeless holiday feeling that instantly makes everything feel a little more special.
This year, I photographed eight wonderful families, including two who joined me again from last year’s Christmas minis. Seeing families grow through my lens is one of the most rewarding parts of being a photographer. I also captured a few babies’ very first Christmases - tiny hands reaching for ornaments, Christmas music playing softly in the background, and little ones learning about milk and cookies for Santa for the very first time. One family even shared that their session was all about teaching their son what Christmas is truly about, matching Santa hats and all.
Christmas really is such a magical season. And even though mini sessions are just 15 minutes, so much love, laughter, and connection fits into that small window of time. My hope is that these photos become more than just images - that they turn into memories you’ll look back on year after year, feeling the warmth, the joy, and the magic all over again 🎄✨
